Very Low Moisture (or VLM)
Carpet Cleaning is a State of the Art Technology where the minimum amount of water and cleaning solution are applied to your carpets.
Then the carpet is agitated and scrubbed by an Oscillating Pad Machine, using a Cotton Terry Cloth Pad.
The nibs on the Terry Cloth Pad are like little fingers, massaging and scrubbing each fiber.
The accumulated dirt and cleaning solutions are then wicked up into the pad and carried away with us.
No dirt, left-over shampoo, or mess is left in your carpet. Only a minimal amount of moisture and soft, clean fibers.
Without the sticky residue of left-over shampoos and cleaning agents, your carpet will not re-soil as quickly, and keep the shine and luster of that just cleaned look.

We utilize the Very Low Moisture Cleaning Method for about 95% of our clients' needs...but some people need a restorative clean or deep flushing - such as in Pet Stain Treatments.
For these clients, we utilize Hot Water Extraction to flush their greasy, sticky soils and pet stains away..and then using a dry pad, the entire area is cleaned again to help remove the residual water left in the carpet. Also, fans are placed to speed the drying.
The faster the drying, the less problems in wicking and restaining will occur.
